Do I have to attend the Risen Son church for my child to be able to attend the school?

No, but RSCS highly recommends that you attend and participate in a local church! Here at Risen Son Christian School, we see it as our job to come alongside the parents and their church to solidify the Christian teachings from home.

Is there a dress code?

There is a dress code. All of our students wear polo shirts with our logo on them with slacks or approved skirts. The school has worked closely with in-town suppliers to get a low cost uniform with many options. For more information, please contact us and we can send you information as outlined in the RSCS Handbook. Handbooks are available for FREE at the school office!

What curriculum do you use?

Our elementary/secondary classes use A Beka, and the preschool uses Horizon as the primary curriculum.

Do you offer any extra curricular activites?

The Risen Son Christian School offers students in the elementary the opportunity to participate in computers and art. We also have a Lego League team that you can check out at http://risensonsbc.wix.com/lambsofgodfll

Is RSCS accredited?

Due to the long and expensive processes of accreditation, the RSCS board has decided not to be accredited at this time.
